Dr. Abu-Bakr El-Masry was born in upstate New York and grew up in Egypt. His professional journey has taken him across Texas, West Virginia, and Massachusetts, enriching his diverse experience. Dr. El-Masry earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Mansoura University in Egypt and completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program at NYU Langone, where he gained advanced expertise in root canal treatments, dental implants, veneers, dental occlusion, and Invisalign® therapy.
Dr. El-Masry is a proud member of the American Dental Association®, Academy of General Dentistry, and Virginia Dental Association. His approach to dentistry emphasizes quality, integrity, and personalized care, ensuring that each patient has the best possible experience.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. El-Masry enjoys spending time with family and friends, participating in social gatherings, and contributing to several non-profit organizations. He and his wife are proud parents to three children.

Having practiced dentistry in Egypt before moving to the United States, Dr. Mohamed brings a diverse and rich understanding to his work. He has developed significant expertise in areas such as dental implants and treating gum disease through three years of working alongside a board-certified periodontist. His Master’s degree also provided in-depth knowledge in root canal therapy.
